Effective date: 24 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use Trefnus Training (the "Application"). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaching this AUP is a breach of the Terms and may result in suspension or termination of your licence.

1. Intended Use

The Application is intended for lawful, internal use by businesses and individuals to record and organise employee training and certification information. You may use it only for that purpose, in accordance with the Terms of Service, this AUP, and all applicable laws.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account or on your Device. You must keep your email account, sign-in links and local password secure and confidential, use the Application only on Devices you control, and notify us promptly at support@trefnus.co.uk of any suspected unauthorised use or security breach.

4. Device Usage

Your licence permits activation on a limited number of Devices (currently up to five). You must not attempt to exceed, evade or manipulate this limit, including by tampering with device identifiers. Each Device must be one you are authorised to use for your licensed purpose.

5. Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all data you enter, including ensuring you have the right to process any personal data of employees or third parties, that it is accurate, and that your use complies with data-protection and employment law. You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We do not access, monitor, verify or back up your training data. See the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any actual or suspected breach of this AUP, security vulnerability or misuse of the Application, please report it promptly to support@trefnus.co.uk (or legal@trefnus.co.uk for legal matters).

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing warnings, suspending or revoking your licence and access, and pursuing legal remedies — in each case at our sole discretion and without liability to you. Suspension or termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.

8. Monitoring

We do not monitor the content of your on-device training data and have no access to it. We may, however, monitor licensing and authentication activity (such as device registrations and verification events) to enforce licence terms, the device limit and this AUP, and to protect the integrity and security of the Application.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Effective date" shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
