Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 24 June 2026

This policy explains your refund and cancellation rights for Trefnus Training (the "Application"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy removes statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

1. Digital Product Acknowledgement

Trefnus Training is supplied as digital content / a software licence delivered electronically and made available for immediate use upon activation. You acknowledge that it is not a physical good and that, once access has been provided, it cannot be "returned" in the ordinary sense.

2. Cooling-Off Period (UK/EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you ordinarily have a right to cancel a distance contract for digital content within 14 days of purchase.

Important: Where you request immediate access to the Application and acknowledge that you wish supply to begin during the 14-day cooling-off period, you expressly agree that you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal once download/access has begun, to the extent permitted by law. By activating the Application before the end of the cooling-off period, you provide that consent and acknowledgement.

If you have not yet activated or accessed the Application, you may cancel within the 14-day period for a full refund by contacting us as set out below.

3. Money-Back Guarantee (Discretionary)

As a goodwill gesture and in addition to your statutory rights, we may at our sole discretion offer a refund if you are dissatisfied and request one within 30 days of your original purchase. This discretionary guarantee is offered voluntarily, may be withdrawn or varied at any time, and does not apply to renewals or to accounts terminated for breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.

You may stop using the Application at any time. Where your licence is non-recurring, simply discontinuing use ends your relationship with us (subject to any surviving terms). Where your licence is recurring (a subscription), see Section 7. To request a cancellation or deactivation, contact support@trefnus.co.uk.

7. Subscription Terms (if applicable)

If your licence is provided on a subscription basis, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period except as required by law. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable once that period has begun, save for your statutory rights.

We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days of receipt. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method and are typically processed within 14 days, although the time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider. We may require verification of your identity and purchase before processing.

We may change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect a licence term already paid for. For subscriptions, we will give reasonable notice of any price change before it applies to your next renewal; continuing after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer, including, in the UK, rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. This policy applies in addition to, and does not override, those rights.

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, contact legal@trefnus.co.uk and we will try to resolve it in good faith. Any unresolved dispute is subject to the dispute-resolution, arbitration and class action waiver provisions of our Terms of Service.
